Airport Car Parking Refund Protection Program

When Can I Claim a Refund?

We will provide a refund of the cost paid by the customer for their reservation should they be unable to attend their pre-reserved car parking such that they are unable to utilise the reservation, solely as a direct result of:

  • Incapacity of the customer through accident, bodily injury or sickness first commencing before the pre-reserved car parking.

  • Incapacity of a Dependent through accident, bodily injury or sickness first commencing before the pre-reserved car parking necessitating the support of the customer.

  • Death of the customer.

  • Death of a member of the customer’s Immediate Family within thirty (30) days before the date of the pre-reserved car parking.

  • Severe Weather preventing the customer’s travel to the location of the pre-reserved car parking.

  • Travel Delay or disruption on the day of the pre-reserved car parking due to a cause outside of the control of the customer that solely and directly prevents the customer’s continued transit to the location of their pre-reserved car parking.

  • Strikes, riots, civil commotion, martial law, terrorism.

  • The customer’s inability to attend due to being a member of the armed forces who is unexpectedly called to duty.

  • The unavoidable requirement of the customer to remain at home due to seriousdamage to the customer’s home or place of businesscaused by fire, aircraft, explosion, storm, flood, subsidence, earthquake, falling trees, burst pipes, lightning, malicious persons or theft within 3 days before the date of the pre-reserved car parking.

  • The unavoidable requirement of the customer to perform jury service where the jury summons was first received by the customer after the date of the reservation was made.

  • The customer being summoned to appear at court proceedings as a witness where the witness summons was first received after the date the reservation was made.

  • The inability of the customer to attend the pre-reserved car parking due to a government-mandated travel restriction in the customer’s home region/country being implemented afterthe reservation was made, preventing the travel of the customer to where the pre-reserved car parking is taking place.

The Airport Car Parking Refund Protection covers the above list of reasons where a customer may apply for a refund. We are unable to consider any circumstances and provide a refund for any reasons outside of what is listed above.

Key Points to Note:

  • Any fraud, misstatement, concealment or negligent statement in the information provided in the making of a refund application shall render the application voidable by Secure My Reservation.

  • Any and all refund payments due under the terms and conditions of the Airport Car Parking Refund Protection may be made payable to a third party(s) as directed by the customer. Paymentof such refundsshall be a sufficient and complete discharge of all of the obligations to the customer and/or the customer in connection with said refund application(s).

  • The Airport Car Parking Refund Protection will be governed by Irish law and you and we agree to submit to the courts of Ireland to determine any dispute arising under or in connection with it unless agreed to the contrary by you and us before the commencement date.

  • These terms and conditions will only be available in English and all communication relating to this protection program will be in English.

  • The words or phrases that appear in bold in the Airport Car Parking Refund Protection terms & conditions have the meanings shown below:

    • Dependent means a person(s) of the Immediate Family of the customer who is reliant on the support of the customer.

    • Immediate Family means the mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepmother, stepfather, sister, brother, child, spouse, civil partner or cohabitee (and their children) and civil law partner, grandparent, legal guardians and foster parents of the customer.

    • Severe Weather means weather conditions for which an official Status Red or Orange warning (or local equivalent) has been issued by a recognised national meteorological authority in the area where the pre-reserved car parking is scheduled to take place, advising against or restricting unnecessary travel.

    • Travel Delay means a delay commencing on the day of the pre-reserved car parking where the Customer is starting their travel in the country where the pre-reserved car parking is being held.

How do I Apply for a Refund?

Refund requests should be submitted online at https://ticket-refunds.com/ within thirty (30) days of the occurrence of the cause of cancellation.

Customers must provide any reasonable evidence requested with supporting documents, such as:

  • Medical Evidence: Doctor’s certificate or hospital letter.

  • Death Certificate: Proof of a death, order of service, or obituary.

  • Police Reports: For theft or accident-related claims.

  • Travel Disruption Proof: Confirmation of traffic congestion / road closure.

  • Home or Business Damage: Insurance claim paperwork.

  • Jury Summons: Court letter stating required attendance at the court on the date of the pre-reserved car parking.

  • News Reports: Supporting articles from national news sources.

  • Weather Bulletins: From local or government agencies.

  • Property Damage Reports: From an insurer or emergency services.

  • Armed Forces Documentation
